Energy Storage
Energy can be stored in geological formations in the form of combustible gas.
To store renewble energy made fom wind or solar the electricity can be used to make hydrogen from water.
The hydrogen can then be stored as any gas in porous media or salt caverns.
The experience gained from storage of natural gas will perfectly support the new renewable energy technologies.
